Steeped in History

Both cemeteries are home to Revolutionary and Civil War veterans. Munson’s first settler, Samuel Hopson, is buried at Fowlers Mill.

Maintenance

The Township takes pride in maintaining and upgrading our cemeteries. We recently contracted with Stonehugger Cemetery Restoration, Inc. for repairs and restoration of gravestones and foundations in both cemeteries.

Honoring Our Veterans

The Township honors those who have served our country every year on Memorial Day with an 8:30am service at Maple Hill Cemetery.
