Fiscal Officer
The fiscal officer is responsible for keeping accurate records of all accounts, transactions, and proceedings of the township. This includes payroll, accounts payable, budgets, appropriations, investments, and financial reporting. The fiscal officer also transcribes the minutes of the Trustees' meetings and is the prevailing wage coordinator for township projects. Because the fiscal officer is held accountable for how funds are spent, this individual also provides oversight for township contracts and proceedings.
Like the trustees, the fiscal officer is an elected position and must be a resident of the township. The term of the office is four years, commencing on the first day of April after the election.
Residents are welcome to stop in or contact the fiscal office at (440) 286-9312 with questions or concerns.
Meet the Fiscal Officer

Todd Ray
Present term ends March 31, 2028
The Ray family moved to Munson in 1965, where he and his five siblings grew up. Todd and his wife, Mary, have raised four children in the township and have been active in the community for many years. Many residents recall that Todd served as a Munson Trustee for 16 years, from 1998 through 2013. He is happy to return to township government to work to keep Munson on track in all its fiscal matters.
Assistant Fiscal Officer - Judy Toth
If needed, an assistant fiscal officer may be appointed to support the township. On March 31, 2020, after 35 years, Judy Toth retired as Fiscal Officer. The Township commended her for the outstanding quality of her performance in various roles, and her exceptional character and personal attributes that made her a pleasure to work with. Effective April 1, 2020, The Board of Trustees appointed her as Assistant Fiscal Officer.
